‘Creative Stitches’ Knitting group at Moorlands Centre in Beanhill, which was formed last month, continues to attract new members of all ages and genders. One of the older members of the group told us about their feeling of joy and fulfillment when they were able to teach the youngest member of the group how to knit. Members have also shared ideas on how to use their knitting to support worthwhile causes, including creating blankets for the local animal rescue charity, Hula. The group has also taken the first steps to registering as a local group, by appointing a chair, secretary and treasurer
