World Vision is the world’s largest international children’s charity. Every day they bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places as a sign of God’s unconditional love. At World Vision, our aim is simple – to keep every child free from fear. They are also proud to be voted one of the Top 100 ‘Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work For 2015’.

As an Advertising & Content Coordinator, this is your chance to support their social media team in producing high quality social content for a variety of channels. With social media being such an important communication tool within their organisation, you will have the added benefit of working on social advertising campaigns that reach the right target audience and promote high engagement and click to cost ratios.

You will need to produce high quality content and this includes editing blogs, videos and photos. Your strong attention to detail will be tested to the full as you create and proofread online content for both website and social media channels – all within World Vision brand guidelines and of course optimised to ensure everything is search engine friendly. Using inspiration to create new campaigns and stories and responding/engaging with supporters across social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter will make your role even more interesting!

Ideally you will be educated to ‘A’ Level standard or equivalent. In terms of experience, film and photo editing would be a real asset along with social media or digital marketing knowledge. Some experience updating a Content Management System (CMS) and a working knowledge of HTML would be useful and a keen interest in creating and delivering online content is a must. In fact if you are constantly in the social media ‘zone’ this is the ideal opportunity to put all your skills into practice within a busy work environment with multiple deadlines as well as maximise the level of engagement from their different audiences.
