The Charity Commission has published ‘Whistleblowing: guidance for charity employees‘.
Charity employees can report concerns about certain categories of serious wrongdoing at their charity to the Charity Commission (for England and Wales). They have created a dedicated email address for this.
While the Public Interest Disclosure Act gives employees some protection, volunteers and trustees aren’t covered. The latter should report concerns to the Commission via serious incident reporting.
See ‘Whistleblowing: guidance for charity employees‘ for more information.
