Introduction
| With Universal Credit starting in Milton Keynes on November 16th it is important that we all understand the new benefit and how it may impact on not only the residents of Milton Keynes but also the way we currently work.
Officers from the Welfare Reform Team and the Department for Work and Pensions will run two hour overview sessions for MKC employees and external stakeholders. The sessions will cover the main issues including the background to Universal Credit, who is eligible, the claimant commitment, how they will be paid and importantly when they will be paid. |
