Operating out of their Kiln Farm Distribution Centre, you will work with a colleague, being responsible for the collection and delivery of furniture and sellable items to customers and retail sites.

You will have direct customer contact in person and by phone; following a pre-planned route to households who have offered to donate furniture and larger items; or delivering large items bought into the store. You will assess suitability of items for resale, load and unload goods, and offer a professional service at all times.

To be successful in this role you will have good communication and customer service skills, in addition to a full driving license and experience of driving a van.

Distribution and Store Manager with Willen Hospice Ventures Ltd

Salary: £21,000-£23,000

Leading a professional, highly motivated and target driven team, you will ensure sustainable stock is sourced and distributed to support retail activity to generate sustainable income for the Hospice.

You will work with the Retail and Lottery Manager to devise, develop and implement a strategic programme of retail activity, ensuring this is adequately resourced with appropriate stock levels to ensure retail targets are met. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Distribution Centre and Store; including recruitment, training and managing the Distribution and Store Team.

The role requires tact and persuasive skills to motivate staff and volunteers, good interpersonal skills and an ability to manage and build teams. With a minimum of 3 years retail/distribution experience you will have good organisational and IT skills; and the ability to handle cash, evaluating sales and reconciling figures.

Supporter Care Manager with World Vision

Salary: £36,269 pa + good range of benefits

A highly motivated Supporter Care Manager is required within their Public Engagement (PE) team. This is an ideal chance to use your experience to lead, motivate and develop the Supporter Care team to provide an exceptional quality of service to their supporters in order to build loyalty and maximise income. It’s also a role where you can work with their internal customers to continually improve the quality and responsiveness of services provided to them.

On a day-to-day basis, key responsibilities will include:

• Making sure the Supporter Team is well-resourced to deliver on agreed workload with maximum efficiency and monitor performance to continually improve skills, raise standards and ensure best practice

• Ensuring any supporter complaints are encouraged and dealt with efficiently and effectively

• Ensuring training and systems are in place to identify supporters who may be at risk to children

• Overseeing the external Telephone Bureau, ensuring they deliver to agreed performance levels within budget and optimum success rates

• Maintaining full confidentially in financial and personal matters and ensure all working practices comply with legal requirements

• Handling complex queries and dealing directly with supporters and Managers on planning availability of children for sponsorship.

As a Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your faith within World Vision UK and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, suitable experience gained within a charity delivering high quality supporter services would be ideal. Proven experience of managing a large team in a customer service environment and meeting sales targets would be an added advantage, along with a training or professional qualification in Quality Management or similar.

Strong communication, leadership and motivational skills are essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships.
