Community Car Scheme: Volunteer Drivers Wanted in the North and South West of Milton Keynes!
Do you have some free time?
Are you a car owner and enjoy driving?
Would you like to help people in your local area by becoming a volunteer car driver?
We are looking for people willing to give their time to transport local residents to a range of medical appointments and social care activities. These are generally in Milton Keynes and local area, but can occasionally be to Aylesbury, and Oxford. You do not have to travel to areas you are not familiar with and the voluntary role is totally flexible, with you choosing which journeys to do, when and how often.
We are looking for new drivers in the North of Milton Keynes especially in the Old Stratford, Greenleys, Hodge Lea, Bancroft Park, Great Linford Area and South West areas West Bletchley, Emerson Valley, Furzton, Shenley Wood, Shenley Lodge, Westcroft, etc.
You will need your own car, and a mileage allowance is paid. You will be asked to provide information for the Disclosure & Barring Scheme and a full driving licence check. For more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either Tracy Whitmore or Laura Jeffery on 01908 670309 or email: ccsmk@communityactionmk.org.
Community Action: MK is being supported by Milton Keynes Council and South Northants Volunteer Bureau and MK Community Foundation to run a Community Car Service project in Milton Keynes.
