Could your street be a Living Street? 

Milton Keynes Council is embarking on a new project, funded by the European Commission’s Life programme, where local residents are invited to take part and help to temporarily transform part of their street into a community space. The main goal of the project is to encourage social cohesion and consideration of switching to forms of sustainable mobility.

The project will contribute to the MK5o programme, which aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Milton Keynes in 2017.

Come along to a public meeting at the Civic Offices on Thursday 22nd September: 6.15-6.45pm (Council Chamber) to find out more about how your organisation, a parish council or a local residents group can get involved in this community-orientated project.
