Healthwatch Milton Keynes is hosting an event to invite feedback from key stakeholders, service users and the public on the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP).
As you may be aware, Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP’s) are being developed in local areas across the country to look at how NHS Health and Social Care services can work more closely together to provide affordable, high quality services for their local communities.
The recently published BLMK STP Public Summary document (attached) sets out the vision for future health and social care in BLMK and outlines ideas for responding to the challenges ahead. The Summary also sets out a commitment to involve everyone with an interest in health and social care services, including those who use them and those who work within them, to further develop plans and proposals for the future of local services.
