Launching new Career WorkOut sessions
with homeless young adults

Can you imagine being homeless…low on employability confidence,
low on connections, low on luck?

This week Worktree begins a partnership with MK YMCA to help unemployed 19-24 year olds to find jobs.  Funded by a community grant from the European Social Fund, they will deliver two 6-week courses for YMCA residents.  Each course will include 3 Career WorkOut sessions, 3 action learning sets and 3 hours of individual coaching.  If you would like to attend one of the Career WorkOut sessions, on Fridays 9.30-10.30am at the YMCA in CMK, please click one of these dates:

Helping YMCA achieve its mission…

MK YMCA is the only emergency accommodation for young people in MK.  It aims to tackle social exclusion by providing safe and secure accommodation – also delivering learning, volunteering and social activity programmes.

This Friday 3rd March, Worktree’s Tom Bulman and other fundraisers will be bedding down in cardboard boxes on the streets of Central Milton Keynes to experience what rough sleepers have to endure every night and raise money for MK YMCA.

Any support you are able to give would be very much appreciated.
