Works for Us (WfU) are looking for a consultant to evaluate their supported volunteering project to examine:
- what the project has achieved;
- assessing the continuing need for and impact of the project; and,
- recommendations for the future.
The project aims to clarify and cement the link between volunteering and gaining work. WfU work with their clients to help them identify and then source a suitable voluntary role that will help develop their skills. They provide support in helping them to move into the role and during the placement and also identify any skills that need to be developed further. They also develop job descriptions / skills records for volunteers that that reflects the language/criteria used by employers in other sectors to enable volunteers to translate their skills and experience gained through volunteering into job applications.
Proposals should be submitted by the 31st March.
*Interviews with shortlisted applicants will take place during the week commencing 10th April. Work to commence beginning of May with an anticipated completion of draft report by mid-June.
