Victim Support are currently looking for volunteers who would like to train as

Service Delivery Volunteers

Victim Support is the independent national charity that helps people cope with crime. Trained volunteers contact people after a crime to offer free, confidential support and information.  Volunteers with excellent listening skills and the ability to empathise are needed to offer advice and emotional support to victims of crime in the Milton Keynes area.  Next core training session dates are 7/8 and 14/15 July. All volunteers will receive continued support and supervision. Help is needed both daytime and evenings and Victim Support can be very flexible about hours volunteered.  

Although the next training takes place in Reading, once trained volunteers will be based in the Milton Keynes area.

Volunteers will need to be good at talking to others, listening, have excellent communication skills and be able to empathise.

Three hours per week and a one year commitment is required.

Location of role: Milton Keynes (after training)

Times/Days: Monday – Saturday, Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings

Age Restriction: 18+
