Would you like to know more about volunteering with the British Red Cross?
Do you have an interest in excellent customer service? Play a key role in helping people to gain their independence back. A Mobility Aids Spoke Volunteer will be on hand to deal with wheelchair requests and enter details onto a database. This key role will enable people to return home after an illness or surgery and help them to remain independent or go on a holiday or trip with friends or family. The beneficiary is at the centre of everything the British Red Cross do.
Volunteers need to be 18 years + and are required on a Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Volunteers will receive in house training and ongoing support.
Or do your fingers dance across a keyboard? Are you comfortable making telephone calls? British Red Cross are looking for an Administration Volunteer to support their busy transport support service, ideally for one half day per week. The role involves contacting the volunteer drivers and clients to organise journeys.
