The Safety Centre (Hazard Alley) is an interactive educational centre where children can learn about safety safely.
The Safety Centre are looking for a new school liaison officer and welcome qualified primary school teachers who are looking for a new challenge. The role is varied and includes teaching in the centre and out in schools as well as talking to schools, promoting their programmes and being part of a great team who are passionate about keeping children safe.
A full, clean drivers licence and own car is essential.

Domestic Abuse Support Worker with Smart CJS
Salary: £22,843 to £26,722 per annum
Terms: Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2018. 37 hours per week flexible working hours, to include some evenings and weekends.

This is an exciting time for SMART in Bucks, they are in the second year of a 2-year pilot scheme funded by the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner to a support service for people with complex needs experiencing domestic Violence/Abuse. They are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to provide crisis support and advocacy to victims of domestic abuse who have complex needs. It requires knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of those affected by it; and a commitment to the values of empowerment and equality. You will in addition liaise with external agencies, and participate in local Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferences. Ideally you will have an IDVA qualification, however this is not essential for the role. Applications will be welcomed from those with experience of working with vulnerable people in a Complex Needs field. Whatever your background you will have strong casework management skills, good written and verbal communication, and an understanding of the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.
Key duties include:
- To provide assessments, risk management and treatment and recovery plans for all service users.
- Work in partnership with other support services to aid vulnerable people with complex needs
- Deliver outreach support to service users
