This year, the Milton Keynes Safeguarding Board is holding a joint safeguarding children and adults conference – Tackling Exploitation: Safeguarding Children and Adults in Milton Keynes.

Delegates will be provided with the opportunity to hear from an impressive line-up of speakers about the following safeguarding issues:

  1. Prevent and Radicalisation – Miriam Bentley-Rose, N-W Leicestershire District Council
  2. Online Exploitation – Lorin LaFave, of Breck Foundation
  3. Modern Slavery – Alison Gardner, of Nottingham University, and Justine Currell, of ‘Unseen’

Delegates will also receive important information about the new safeguarding partnership arrangements in Milton Keynes.
