Community Action: MK and Dentons hosted a series of talks throughout 2017 aimed at supporting community groups, social enterprises, charities and other not-for-profit organisations in Milton Keynes. The talks provided an introduction to legal issues.

The final talk in the series on Wednesday 22nd November in CMK, sees Josie Coe of Dentons give an introduction to leasing property and offer some tips for negotiating leases or licences.

In particular, Josie will cover repairs, alterations, protected tenancies, dilapidations and the end of a lease, rent and rent review, break clauses and termination.

This talk is for you if you work for or are involved in the running of a community group, charity or other not-for-profit organisation that leases office or other space or is considering doing so in the future.

You will also find this talk useful if you are a trustee, director, board member or committee member of a community group, charity or other not-for-profit organisation.

Breakfast will be provided. Please let us know if you have any access or other special requirements. Book your free spot via Eventbrite.
