Singing for the Brain ® provides a structured group session for older people with dementia who may wish to attend alone or with a carer.

The service is designed around the principals of music therapy and singing and offers a chance for people to socialise and have fun in a safe and supported environment.

The Herons Lodge Guide Centre group meets fortnightly on Monday mornings between 10.30am and 12.30pm, although volunteers come along about half an earlier to help set out the tables and chairs and remain for a similar amount of time at the end to help put everything away and tidy the room.
