We are delighted to be able to work with Hewitsons to offer six free 1:1 clinic sessions to help small – medium sized voluntary groups prepare for the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Hewitsons will be able to advise on specific actions your group will need to take to prepare for this new regulation.

How do you know if you might need advice? The Information Commissioner’s Office suggests that:

“Many of the GDPR’s main concepts and principles are much the same as
those in the current Data Protection Act (DPA), so if you are complying
properly with the current law then most of your approach to compliance
will remain valid under the GDPR and can be the starting point to build
from. However, there are new elements and significant enhancements, so
you will have to do some things for the first time and some things
differently.”

***UPDATE FULLY BOOKED*** Sessions will be held on Wednesday 17th January in our small meeting room at Acorn House, Midsummer Boulevard from 10am – 1pm. Each session will last for 20 minutes and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis to individuals from voluntary groups that are small-medium sized and based in Milton Keynes.
