Last few places remaining on The Open University’s Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership Local Learning Clubs!

Are you involved in a local group? If so, you’re invited to join a learning club for two courses on leadership in the voluntary sector.

There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that voluntary sector organisations that engage in
collaborative leadership are better equipped to secure sustainable solutions to challenges faced by the communities they work with and serve.
Participants will be expected to independently complete 2 Open University online course on Introducing Leadership in the Voluntary Sector (5 weeks) and a course on Collaborative Leadership in Voluntary Organisations (8 weeks).

In addition, participants are invited to, and expected to attend, 4 supportive learning club sessions during the duration of the course.

These session will give participants the opportunity to share their learning during the intervening period and benefit from peer learning. Places are limited to 20.

If you would like to join the club, please complete the application form and a starter
questionnaire here.

Completed application forms and questionnaires should be submitted by
email to Dr Fidele Mutwarasibo fidele.mutwarasibo@open.ac.uk by 5.30pm on April 5th.

Successful applicants will be notified by April 6th.

The official launch of the learning club is scheduled to take place at the Open University
during the week beginning April 9th. Details of the launch will be made available to successful applicants.
