Spinal Injuries Association will be taking over Milton Keynes Central train station to help raise awareness of spinal cord injury on 18th May 2018.
It is estimated around 1,000 people are diagnosed or injured each year totalling an estimated 40,000 within the UK with a spinal cord injury. Fancy doing something a bit different, then why not Join #TeamSIA as a bucket collector and give up some of your time to help let people know that SIA’s services already support 7,100 members living with a spinal cord injury.
As a charity, SIA relies on the kindness of volunteers and fundraisers to help keep their services going. These services include Peer Support (1 to 1 support for an individual, including their family), advocacy and nurse specialists.
