House Coordinator (Team Leader)
Salary: Salary: £21,500 – £23,500 per annum (depending on experience and qualification level)
Full time: 37.5 hours per week with on-call duties on an agreed rota basis

About us:
Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person centred support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions, as well as a number of people living in the Milton Keynes area who have a learning disability. We support our service users in all aspects of their daily lives, and believe that each person should be valued for their contribution to the community.
About You:
We are seeking a team leader with previous experience in social care, working with people with learning disabilities or complex needs, with a minimum Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
You will work as a member of the day to day hands-on Care & Support Team in close liaison with our Care & Support managers to provide high quality care and support to residents.
As team leader, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of care and support plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care and support, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff and volunteers, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also ensure the Charity continues to be compliant with CQC (currently rated good) and continuously seek and implement methods to improve standards.
It is important that you can demonstrate a flexible approach to work as you will be required to cover a weekly rota, which includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins and on-call duties on an agreed rota basis.
