Milton Keynes Homelessness Partnership (MKHP) has an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic self-starter to shape a new organisation and drive forward implementation of its ambitious new vision and strategy.

About MKHP

MKHP is a partnership between public, private and voluntary sector organisations with a vision of sustainable homes for all. MKHP’s strategy is to shift the focus from managing homelessness to ending homelessness by wider engagement and a joined-up approach to provide a clear pathway to sustainable housing.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a CEO (8 hours per week) or the combined role of CEO and Project Manager (24 hours per week). If we appoint a CEO only, the project manager role will be advertised again as a standalone role.

CEO (8 hours per week)

The CEO will have responsibility for development and review of MKHP’s strategic plan, highlighting key priorities from best practice & policy research and collaborating with homelessness prevention & support services and accommodation providers on joined up working and sustainable homes. Reporting to the new CIO Board of Trustees, you will recruit and manage a small team of staff with project management, communications, fund raising, finance and administrative skills.

Project Manager (16 hours per week)

The project management role includes the review of supply and demand of homelessness services, KPI reporting, data analysis and working with partners on the implementation of priority schemes.

Rates of pay

Fixed term contract until 31 March 2020 at a rate of £20 per hour for CEO role alone, or £18 per hour for the combined role of CEO and project manager.
