Would you like to work for an innovative community project in Wolverton?

Future Wolverton is a membership based Community Benefit Society with a mission to establish Wolverton as a thriving and sustainable town within the city of Milton Keynes. We do this by enabling an active and involved community to protect and celebrate the unique heritage of the Town, whilst developing new business, housing and community facilities to ensure future prosperity.

Thanks to a major grant from the Reaching Communities Fund at the BIG Lottery, Future Wolverton is recruiting three new staff to support the operation and development of the Old School Project in Old Wolverton.

1.Project Officer   

£25,250 FTE per annum, pro rata for hours worked; 22.5 hours per week. £15,150 per annum salary. Hours negotiable.

2.Project Assistant

£18, 000 FTE per annum, pro rata for hours worked; 27.5 hours per week. £13,200 per annum salary. Hours negotiable.

  1. Student Support Worker 

£20,237 per annum, pro rata for hours worked; Term Time only, 195 days per year, 6 hours per day .  £13,559  per annum salary

The Old School Project is based at a Grade 2 listed building in Old Wolverton, located next door to Slated Row School.  Slated Row School are a strategic partner in the project, which will provide invaluable work experience and life skills to students with special needs. The students will support the provision of community facilities for the local community and the operation of a 3 bedroomed Guest House for use by work and leisure visitors to Wolverton and wider Milton Keynes.
