If you enjoy the outdoors, want to learn new skills, meet new people and help the team look after the nations forest, why not get involved with your local group today.

The sessions are based at both Salcey Forest and the community woodlands in and around Silverstone and led by our Recreation Rangers and Forest Craft workers. Each session offers individuals the opportunity to learn a variety of new skills in woodland management, the environment and the chance to meet new people whilst out in the great outdoors. In return, the sessions provide us the opportunity to educate people on the work Forestry England do and receive some valuable support helping us to ensure our trees remain healthy and that our woodlands encourage a diverse range of wildlife species. At every session our volunteers receive on the day training, tools and of course tea and biscuits.
