Save the date! Fareshare will be organising a warehouse open day on the 1st October 2019 to celebrate the launch of the new warehouse.
We are excited to announce that the food redistribution charity FareShare, in partnership with the innovative education charity SOFEA will be opening a new Regional Centre; FareShare South Midlands in September 2019.
Who are Fareshare?
FareShare is the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. We intercept perfectly good surplus food, and we re-distribute it to local charities and not-for-profit community organisations that use it for good causes. Across the UK, we work with 10,943 frontline charities and community groups to make this happen. They take the food we save from waste and transform it into meals for vulnerable people. It’s about more than just meals though.
These organisations serve up specialist support – as well as lunch and dinner – meaning that one meal can be the start of a life-changing journey. Charities estimate it would cost them an average £7,900 a year to replace the food they get from FareShare.
Membership has the ability to significantly reduce your expenditure on food, allowing you to channel your resource into frontline services that improve the lives of those who you work with.

If you think your charity could make huge savings on your food bills and would like to access nourishing, fresh produce for a fraction of its retail value, please contact us: sophia@sofea.uk.com
Together we can fight hunger, and tackle food waste!
