Workshop: Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls in Milton Keynes

We would like to invite you to the above workshop, aimed at exploring the scale of violence experienced by women and girls in Milton Keynes. At the workshop we will map out the existing services and any gaps in service provision, and explore ways of tackling the issue in a collaborative way. The workshop will bring a range of groups and organisations, who provide support, information, advice and guidance for women and girls in Milton Keynes, and other relevant stakeholders.
The event is being organised by Community Action: MK in collaboration with Aylesbury Vale and MK Sexual Assault and Abuse Support Service, MK Act, MK Fawcett Society and MK Soroptimists. You will get a chance to experience the brand new campus of YMCA Milton Keynes, who are kindly hosting the workshop.
Please join us to help kick start working together to address the issues of rights and safety of women and girls in Milton Keynes. We would like to encourage groups and organisations with a range of knowledge and experience on working on these issues to come and join us at the workshop.
