To mark Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), the Milton Keynes Rose unveiled a new pillar dedicated to volunteering.

Unveiled by The Mayor of Milton Keynes Cllr Andrew Geary, this new pillar has been inscribed with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi reading:

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”.

This pillar has been created to recognise the importance of volunteers to Milton Keynes and acknowledge the vital role they play within our community.
