See the latest update from MK Fawcett group about their recent report and the feedback from the online discussion sessions which they run over the summer.
The MK Fawcett group recently circulated a Discussion Paper called “Re-think Equality”, focussing on gender. It examined the way that some of the ways Milton Keynes Council does business could be improved in order to support fairness and equality for women in Milton Keynes.
The Fawcett Society is the UK’s leading membership charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights at work, at home and in public life.

Their follow-on debates, held online in June and July 2020, attended by 50 people were lively and thought-provoking.
Thank you so much to all who zoomed along. We heard about some good things going on locally, but also many examples which suggest that as we plan the Recovery from the COVID-19 crisis, there is a need to make many changes.
