We’d like to say thank you to Community Led Initiatives for this guest blog sharing information about their volunteer mentor role, how you can apply and what the roles is about. We have seen a huge increase in volunteering throughout Covid-19 and this is an 1 example of a great way to get involved in a local group and support them in a more permanent way as they continue to help communities and individuals across MK.

A bit about Community Led Initiatives –
CLI is a mentoring service that aims to support people through their recovery from substance misuse and gambling addiction. We provide 1-1 mentoring, group activities, community building and co-production as we work to remove barriers for people facing complex issues such as drug and alcohol misuse, gambling, homelessness and mental health.
Our 1-1 mentoring and group support provides emotional and practical help for people who want to make positive changes orientated around recovery, their personal goals, connecting with their community and a life beyond addiction.
What you could be doing?
