Development Officer –  BLMK (Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes)

Salary: £26,500
Hours: Between 22.2 to 37 hours per week 
Term of contract: Between 8 to 12 months dependent on agreed weekly hours worked

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team here at Community Action: MK as a Development Officer – BLMK. The role is focused on coordinating a programme called Communities Together, which is all about integrating the Voluntary and Community Sector across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes into the new partnership arrangements for the NHS in our area. Community Action: MK is the lead body for the Communities Together programme. We are a charity based in Milton Keynes supporting voluntary groups with things such as funding advice, governance, volunteer management and lots more. We also run a variety of community engagement and community development projects. 
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills to coordinate the programme and support our Partnerships Lead.  Whether you gained your experience and skills through education, paid employment or volunteering, we are keen to hear from individuals of all backgrounds. Being able to work as part of the team, as well as independently, and an eagerness to engage with and support a number of different groups and organisations are key to this role.
