On Saturday the 21st of May, Whitehouse surgery’s wellbeing advisors Rosie, Debi and Josan Race from Community Action MK facilitated a session for women to come together to tell their stories about the menopause journey.
It was an amazing turnout with over 20 women registered with the health centre attending. Rachel Price, Lead Nurse at the surgery ran the session which was very informal and gave everyone the chance to contribute. This is a hot topic and we knew it would be great for women to come together as a group to realise they weren’t alone.
This is going to be something we carry on talking about and maybe others will start these conversations too. To all you wonderful women out there, YOU ARE AWESOME!
