Environmental networking event

Extinction Rebellion MK and Transition Town MK/Doughnut Economics MK, with support from Community Action MK, are holding an environmental/climate change networking/ planning meeting for groups in Milton Keynes, Beds and Luton – on Saturday 9th July at The Old Bath House in Wolverton 3-5pm!

The aim of this collaborative initiative is to provide a regular space for groups related to local action on climate – to inform and inspire each other, identify common goals and shared causes, and generate joint initiatives.

About the evet/ meeting

Thank you to those who have expressed an interest in this event – with the upcoming holidays, many who wanted to attend cannot. The event will still take place with an amended focus – to build a planning team in order to organise (co-produce!) a bigger event in September when hopefully more people will be free. Please join us for this important planning session.

Here is what the initial plan for the event was before we collectively decided to shift the focus in July to be a collaborative planning session. We hope to incorporate all of these initial ideas into the event that we will be planning for September…but really look forward to meeting on the 9th July to gather all other ideas of what the event could look like!

We hope you can join us on on Saturday 9th July at The Old Bath House in Wolverton 3-5pm.

We will create opportunities for everyone interested in being involve to connect with each other and share our ideas and start an event action plan. We will have light refreshments (cake!) to keep us going.
