Local

MK Community Foundation – Strategic Recovery Fund: Since the beginning of the COVID19 pandemic MK Community Foundation launched an emergency appeal to support the local Voluntary, Community and Cultural sector (VCCS) to respond and support the most vulnerable people in our society especially those adversely effected by the virus. During the emergency phase of the grant programme, the Community Foundation has supported grants to the value of over £1,000,000. It is now essential that MK Community Foundation provides sustainable funding through the COVID-19 MK Recovery Fund to support the future sustainability of organisations and adapting to new ways of providing services.


National

Community Business ReBoost Fund: Grant funding and matched equity investment are available for existing community business, with charitable purpose, that are based in England to prepare a community share offer to support their recovery from coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

Grassroots Support Now – Alpkit Foundation: small grants of £500 available for organisations that are serving those most affected by the Covid19 outbreak.

The Social Enterprise Support Fund: the fund is targeted at social enterprises supporting people facing social and economic challenges as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and aims to help grow organisation’s trading incomes through grants from £10,000 to £100,000 (though most will be given between £10,000 to £50,000). To apply the social enterprise must: have an annual income between £20,000 – £1.8m in either of the last two financial years. be at least one year old. have most of its beneficiaries in England. be an incorporated social purpose organisation with an asset lock. be financially resilient. be reliant on income from trading. 50% of grants will go to organisations led by people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ communities, disabled people and/or leaders with lived experience of the issues their social enterprise addresses. Covid 19 Funder Database: A free, online toolkit to increase impact and funding

Grants Online: launched a listing of foundations and organisations that have launched funding programmes in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

Locality: a regularly updated page surrounding COVID-19 and sets out some of the funding being made available for charities during the COVID-19 crisis.

Small Charities Coalition: published resources, guidance and information centered around the COVID-19 crisis, as well as a list of fundraising tools to help small charities.

External Funding: Covid-19  Crisis Response: A comprehensive list of funders put together by Thames Valley Police. Various funding streams that have become available to tackle issues that have arisen during COVID-19.
