Stakeholder Forum for the Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes Healthcare Review

image006

Following our stakeholder event in January this year, which we held to update you on the Healthcare Review and the steps we’re taking to improve future local healthcare across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes, we would like to invite you to join us at one of our Stakeholder Forums being held in April. This will be an opportunity for you to hear the early thinking that has emerged from recent clinical discussions and to share your views.

Specifically we will:

  • outline the issues and challenges facing healthcare in our area
  • share with you clinical views on future service provision
  • encourage your feedback on the early thinking
  • offer you the opportunity to ask questions and gain points of clarification
  • talk about next steps

Your input is invaluable to us and we are committed to ensuring your feedback can help to shape future recommendations that will be developed further before wider public consultation.

Wednesday 20 April

Milton Keynes Christian Centre, Strudwick Drive, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes MK6 2TG

Time: 2.00pm – 5.00pm

Confirm your attendance and any special requirements for access by email to communications@bedsandmkhealth.org by Wednesday 13 April. (There are also events in Bedfordshire if you cant make the MK ones)

For further information on the Healthcare Review, please visit www.bedsandmkhealth.org

Calling all groups! Healthwatch want to hear your views

unnamed 2

Calling all groups! Healthwatch are keen to hear your feedback good or bad about local health and care services.

They record and analyse this information and look for trends – where services are good and where they need to improve. They pass this information to the services, and work with organisations that design and run these services to help them change things for the better.

Healthwatch would be happy to visit your group to inform your members about Healthwatch and gather any feedback they may have.

Please call Cindy to book your slot.
