An Introduction to Milton Keynes Palestine Solidarity Campaign
At the recent Art in the Park festival, we had the chance to connect with members of Milton Keynes Palestine Solidarity Campaign (MKPSC). It was great to learn more about their work and the different ways they engage local people in conversations about Palestine, human rights and international justice.

MKPSC is a local group that works to raise awareness of the situation in Palestine and advocate for the civil, political and human rights of Palestinians in line with international law. The group brings people together through community events, information stalls, talks, workshops and peaceful demonstrations, helping local residents learn more about Palestinian history, culture and current issues.
Alongside their campaigning and awareness-raising work, MKPSC also supports Palestinian producers by promoting Fairtrade products such as Zaytoun foods and Hadeel crafts, helping people make practical choices that support Palestinian communities.

As Refugee Week encourages us to reflect on themes of welcome, dignity, human rights and community, we wanted to highlight the role that local groups such as MKPSC play in encouraging discussion, raising awareness and helping people engage with issues they care about.
