Come along to our next information about the MiDoS Directory of Services and find out how you can get your group listed! Read on to find out more …
If you’re part of a voluntary or community group in Milton Keynes, we’d like to invite you to our next online information session about MiDoS – a local directory of services that brings together health and community support in one place.
This session is being run in partnership with Community Action: MK, CVS Beds, and the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB). It’s open to any local organisation or group that supports people in the community.
What is MiDoS?
MiDoS stands for My Directory of Services. It’s a new platform designed to help health and care professionals – including GPs and social prescribers – easily find and refer people to local services and support.
This could include anything from wellbeing activities and support groups to advice services, food provision, and community projects. If your group provides support in any form, this is a great opportunity to be part of something that will help more people access what you offer.
Why attend?
In this session you will:
- Learn more about what MiDoS is and how it will be used
- See a live demonstration of the platform
- Ask questions and understand the next steps to get involved
- Hear from local support teams who can help you register your group and provide guidance
You’ll also find out how being listed on MiDoS can increase your visibility and help health professionals connect people with your services.
Who will be delivering the session?
The session will be led by Ali Hussain, Senior Directory of Services Project Lead. He will be joined by representatives from Community Action: MK and CVS Beds, who will be available to offer practical advice and answer any questions about registration, governance, or communications.
How do I sign up?
The session is free, held online via Microsoft Teams, and is open to all voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.
If you have any questions ahead of the session, please do get in touch via support@communityactionmk.org
This session is being run as part of Community Action: MK’s capacity building programme, as funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
