Our next blog this week is from Connection Support!
Our volunteers and peer mentors have had a transformative impact across the service. They provide consistent, compassionate, lived-experience support that strengthens engagement and improves outcomes for clients who may otherwise struggle to connect with services. The development of our peer mentoring programme has been a key success, with 18 active peer mentors now contributing to recovery-focused support, alongside 15 active volunteers in a range of roles.
Thank you!
I want to express sincere gratitude for your dedication, professionalism, and compassion. You consistently go above and beyond in your roles, often drawing on your own lived experience to support others in a way that is both powerful and impactful.
I would also like to acknowledge the importance of continued investment in volunteer and peer mentor development. Providing structured training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for reflection has been key to sustaining engagement and ensuring quality practice.
