Thank you to our Volunteers! – Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Watch
I always feel there are too few opportunities to say a collective thankyou to our volunteers involved with Neighbourhood Watch.
However, I see this as probably the biggest and best time to recognise and applaud them, as part of the impressive 40th anniversary of Volunteers Week.
We have nearly 200 Watch coordinators and deputies. They’re all volunteers and they bring their own energy and commitment, in their own style. You won’t see any grandstanding! They know their neighbours and neighbourhoods, and they do what they can to raise the values of safer communities and closer partnership links with the police.
Further to this, several of them generously give up their time to support our Committee and use their skills and knowledge to help enrich and develop the work of the Association. I am grateful for their help stepping up to support our range of pop-up shops, exhibitions and meetings across many different venues in the district.
A BIG 40th Anniversary thankyou to them all!
